Steamed Blue Crabs

Cleaned Blue Crabs
1 can beer
Old Bay Seasoning
Sea Salt

Heat beer in a steamer pot. Place a layer of crabs in pot and sprinkle with Old Bay Seasoning and salt. Continue to layer with crabs and repeat the process. Steam over the beer (not in) for 15 minutes. Serve with hot lemon butter. 

Kitchen Tips: To clean crabs, remove large claws. Turn crab on it's back and lift the pointed apron at the base away from the body. Remove the apron and the intestinal vein at the same time. Scrub crab under cold running water. Pull chest section free of the hard upper shell. Discard feathery lung sections and the liver. Break in half, rinse with cold water.
